Before you create a flyer, there are a few design principles worth considering.

Using Word

So how can you apply these tips using Word?

Use Text Boxes and/or Sidebars

Use good quality images

    Use the web to find royalty free images, stock photos, or Creative Commons Images
    Use your own images
    Use images from Word or Microsoft online that are high quality or striking

Other Tools

Use shapes to add colour splashes

Use Arrange to layer objects

Use Bullets
